All Junior students will be taking the ACT on Tuesday, March 11 2025.

This is the Utah State core test for all the Junior students. Although the score can be used for college entrance, in this case, it is used to measure student learning. Please plan on attending that day regardless of you plans to attend college.

*Test given at BRHS if there are 20 or more students that sign up. Less than 20, they will send them to other testing sites. BRHS is a paper only test site, if you choose online testing, BRHS will not appear as an option.

ACT TEST $69*: Basic fee; includes sending scores to four college choices.  

ACT + WRITING TEST $94: Optional test section; does not affect your overall score. Not needed for Utah colleges, but some private institutions and out-of-state schools may require it. Check with the institution you plan on attending.

LATE REGISTRATION: Additional $38.    

*Dawn Richards, in the administraiton office, has a limited number of vouchers to pay for the re-taking of the ACT on a national day. Visit her in the office or email dawn.richards@besd.net to claim a voucher.

National Test Day Instructions:

• Arrive at Bear River High by 7:45 AM for room assignments. Students MUST be seated by 8:00 AM or they will be turned away. NO EXCEPTIONS!  

• Bring photo identification, your admission ticket, No. 2 pencils, and an approved calculator  

  for the math section.
